Conference Scholarships
The Resource Development Committee of AFCC manages the Scholarship Fund. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded for AFCC conferences. The Resource Development Committee determines the number and type of scholarships made available each year.
Scholarship recipients are not the only beneficiaries of the scholarship program. Colleagues and courts in their communities, as well as children and families enmeshed in conflict, also benefit. Scholarship recipients take advantage of networking opportunities and state-of-the-art training that are the hallmark of all AFCC conferences. Scholarship recipients include parenting coordinators, child custody evaluators, court services personel, social workers, lawyers, mediators, graduate students and others that work with children and families.
Four scholarships will be awarded for AFCC'S Ninth Symposium on Child Custody Evaluations. Scholarships include registration fees for the conference, on full-day pre-symposium institute, luncheon and certificate of attendance. Recipients are responsible for funding any additional expenses. The application deadline is September 1, 2010. Recipients will be notified mid-September.
